You'll learn to shop smarter and save money

    Its all about the bubbles.JPG

Big bubbles, little bubbles; big price tags, little price tags... so what's the difference? One thing’s for sure, when we're talking about bubbles, size does matter!

We will taste over 10 different sparkling wines & Champagnes including a few classics, like vintage Veuve and a HARD TO FIND Brazilian Beauty!  This tasting will guide you through the wines, comparing different price points to help you save money as well as teach you a few quirky facts to impress your friends!

This inadvertently educational and thoroughly social guided tasting will encourage you to appreciate bubbles for more than just its celebratory qualities!

    What is speed-TASTING?

There are 6 different learning themes, introduced in rounds by your host, who is bursting with entertaining and memorable facts.  After each round, you move onto a different table where you are greeted with new faces and your next set of generous tasting samples. The unusual samples are a superb talking point and will really get your tongues wagging!

In under 3 hours, with carefully organised seat-swaps, you’ll meet 80% of the event’s attendees and enjoy a tastour of 10 different Champagnes and sparkling wines!

Not only will you discover just how diverse taste is, you’ll learn more about your own taste preferences, some which may even surprise you!

‘Great day out!  I thought I knew a lot about London, but the excellent, knowledgeable guide proved me wrong.  It was a good mix of enjoyable people, learning about places I’ve already been and discovering a few hidden gems. Providing the map and links was a real bonus’ Tastourian, Janet

    FEEDBACK FROM LAST YEAR

A glorious day out at one of the highlight events of the British Summer. Kelly has now taken me to two traditional sporting events - Ascot and Henley. Both were thoroughly researched, well thought out and planned, with a few lessons in the history, etiquette and traditions thrown in. Thank you for two great days Kelly. -Liza

'Fantastic experience! and Kelly is an amazing organiser and host! would love to do it again next year!'- Ksenia

    DRESS

No formal dress code applies although many people enjoy entering into the spirit of the occasion by dressing up.  The dress is similar to Royal Ascot, ‘posh’ summer wedding wear or garden party.

    TICKET TO THE RACES

Your ticket to see the races are included in this package price.  This is a ticket for the "Enclosures" or viewing areas for watching the race and is valued at £20. Since the Regatta owns most of the riverbank and parking area on the Oxfordshire side and some of it on the opposite Buckinghamshire side, it is essential to buy tickets.

The Enclosure contains a licensed bar and has excellent catering facilities with plenty of choice.

    TRANSPORT

We will be driven to the Regatta via minibus.  As Henley is West of London, the pickup point will be Shepherd’s Bush at 10AM.  We’re return to London around 8PM. The coach will stop at Shepherd’s Bush and Embankment.

I love rum - it's incredibly diverse, so don't think it's all rum and coke (or Mojitos for that matter).  From Antigua to Barbados, from Mauritius to Venezuela, true rum can be drank like a fine Whisky.

The UK RumFest is the ultimate rum experience for rum drinkers, rum aficionados and rum lovers that have traveled to the tropics to sample the music, the food, the partying and people associated with drinking rum.

And for the girly girl palates out there - head to the coconut rum bars :) You'll experience cocktail master class galore!  Which alone is worth the entry to the show.

Everyone can enjoy 'the orgasmic delicacy of rum and chocolate which truly complement each other and open the palate to a new dimension in flavour.'

This year they have added a tropical food area, which is sure to delight the senses.

Try cocktails mixed by the UK's best mixologists.
    • Watch live cocktail demonstrations.
    • Live musical entertainment including salsa, soca, reggae, zouk and samba.
    • Rum master classes conducted by industry experts and master blenders.
    • Be the first to try new rums to the UK market.
    • A chance to win two Caribbean holidays and visit a real rum distillery.
