Share your fav recipe, eat cake & visit Portabello Market

If your like most home cooks, you'll agree sharing a recipe is very rewarding. We are test running this as a monthly event to bring together gourmets who'd like to exchange recipes and cooking tips.
Books for cooks is opening it's kitchen, exclusively for Tastourians for this very special event.
Upon arrival you will be given one cooking tip to share with the group. You will then share with the group why you brought the recipe and any secret tips to help others make it. If you haven't emailed your recipe in advance, your recipe will be scanned on-site and an e-book will be sent to attendees via email.
What recipe to bring?
It's up to you! Bring and oldie but a goodie or the one you throw together using what's left in the fridge. The only requirements are that it's a recipe you have tried and think others will enjoy making.
Do I have to be a fantastic cook?Absolutely not! As long as you like to cook and want to share ideas with others you are most welcomed!
About the venueThis event will be hosted by Books for Cooks, the famous cookbook shop in Notting Hill. If you haven't been before, you will feel like you've died and gone to heaven! There are over 8,000 cookbooks for you to curl up on the sofa with. The best part is, in the back of the shop is a test kitchen where they serve lunch and cakes made fresh daily using the recipes from the books in the shop.
They are located just off the Portabello Road Market. This market is well known for its foodie spots, including the Spice Shop (directly across the street) and the Hummingbird Bakery, just to name a few.
